Item Description: Beware, I received a message right after posting "I'll buy it ".
The message stated "click the link below for faster responce"
This went to gmail and fake seller requested I make at least $100 deposit on choice of various platforms.
I declined this and fake seller said "trust me, I'm a police officer" and sent photo ID of a retired officer's GWCL & retired police ID.
I declined to make a deposit, and good thing, as this WAS a scam.
This happened 2 days ago.

The other common scam on WTB adds is "Hey my friend Bob (or whoever they make up) has what you're looking for. Email him at iamascammer@gmail.com (or whatever scam address they make up). Then once you do they send you pics stolen off the internet.

Next thing they will tell you, is that they are out of the state for a family emergency and the funds is in a bank, but they need all your info to be able to wire you the money. Actually they won the lottery and he is willing to give some of the fortune away… 😂 😂
