From experience, someone traded me a 17 for a 16...you wanna keep the 16.

I disagree with that! My 17 is a beast. 16 got sold and got a CZ Bren 2 and like it better. The 17 is special cause it’s 7.62, the 16 being 5.56 isn’t as special and there’s other things that do better for a cheaper price in my opinion. It is a very solid platform. You can’t go wrong with any SCAR tbh!

I’ve owned all 3... 16,17 and 20s. You want the 16. Ammo on .308 is ridiculous and NOT worth it. The scar16 in 556 is much cheaper and just as accurate.
