We can patrol the lots until we're blue in the face, but it's still going to happen.

Car break-ins can happen anywhere, and will continue to happen as long as there are thieves. But my point is BP doesn't do anything that I know of to deter theft from their customer's cars. Some sort of security measures, like visible cameras, signs advertising cameras, etc would be a good start. I know BP probably rents the building they are in and have no financial responsibility for the parking lot, but they owe it to us as their customers to do something. I am glad they are a profitable business and I enjoy shopping there, but it is past time they spent a little money at this location for parking lot security.

To the OP, any idea if there are any leads? Any video? Any prints? Anything more from BP other than "Sorry about your loss"?

no but if you park in 2 spots waiting for a Trade with an ODT member they will get on to you about parking.

I went out yesterday and picked up a thug that had stolen an AR and a Glock from his neighbors car. Idiot posted pics of himself with the guns on Instagram and they had some identifying marks on them. What's so funny is he was looking all tough and thuggish on IG and when we picked him up he cried like a little girl.
Funny how some time in the back of a patrol car brings out the best in people.

I'm with you, some measures are better than none.
