I don't want to sell my Winchester 1400 Mk II, but I highly recommend it if you're interested in an older style gun, 1970s era, with a nice traditional well polished wood stock. It's a gas-operated semi auto with very soft recoil.

Somebody has an ad up selling one of these for only $300. It's in 12 gauge.
It's vent ribbed and it uses the "winchoke" screw-in choke tube system.

i'd seriously consider that.
