Item Description: It's SPM!!! Egyptian Hakim semi-auto rifle in excellent condition for $485.
The Hakim Rifle is a gas operated semi-automatic rifle. It was originally designed by Sweden. The tooling and design were later sold to Egypt, and the Hakim was produced there during the 1950s and early 1960s.
The Hakim system is a simple, direct impingement type, similar to the U.S. M-16, AR-15. The Hakim features a Tokarev-pattern tipping bolt system as used in the FN49, SKS and MAS-49 rifles.
The Egyptians built the Hakim in 7.9x57mm Mauser to take advantage of the large stockpile of ammo left behind after WWII. The Hakim features a 10-round magazine intended to be loaded from the top breech with 5 round stripper clips.
The Hakim for sale is in excellent original condition. It hasn't been shot much. The bore is a strong excellent condition. It is a fun gun to shoot, and at $485 is perhaps the cheapest military large caliber semi-auto for sale. (Not much more that a SKS).
