Wow. Touchy subject. The state I used to live in required all handguns to be registered. And you to keep a registered card with you. I had a s+w revolver stolen from my girlfriend's car. A year and a half later someone tried to legally register it. I got a call from the sheriff.... I got it back!!!! I still have it today!!

Man that does suck! I had a 1911 stolen years ago. I now keep a high point pistol in the truck. That's the only negative result of Georgia not having a gun registration??
I'm still trying to grasp the concept of having a gun registration. This wasn't an NFA item being stolen... Oh well, sorry to hear your gun was stolen OP and I hope it's recovered. Like others have said, center console is the 1st place to look along with glove compartment. Get a small pistol safe bolted or cable locked into your vehicle if you have to leave a gun in there.

Sad part is I have one... But at times, it isnt convenient...Now, I wish I had but Idk... As the days pass it is becoming worse and worse, I start looking at all my naighbors as crooks... Some more than others! Its sad something like this makes you view others like this. I want to search everyones car and house on my street... Detective said I was the only one in the subdivision who has reported breakins and this is 2x since Sept. He said we are more than likely targeted...I honestly have it narrowed down to two who have been consistantly just stared everytime Im outside.

Man I understand. I never completely satisfied my suspicion either. I travel all over the nation and sometimes outside the country. Mine was taken in my driveway as well. I don't have neighbors so.... I'm sure it was someone close to me. And its an awful feeling. I'm sure it was something you worked hard for. Some people never figure out there's no short cuts. Good luck. I sincerely hope fortune brings it back to you. But the wondering who... will drive you nuts if you let it. I've learned that what goes around really does come around. Good luck.

The bad part is one that I really suspect is a high school kid. How scary is that... I have a few ideas to talk with the detective about tomorrow on what can be done. But thoughts of what ifs start to fill my head when it comes to a gun. And cant particulary get past that yet. But guess have to let the cops do their job and just go with the process...
