I used to breed Malamutes, there is no "Giant" there is the AKC standard and then there are poor bloodlines. My guys weighed in at the vets office at 145-160lbs, my girls 135-145lbs. They dont do well in the GA. climate. Just 45 minutes in direct sunlight, even with water can cause one to have a heat stroke and die. I know a show breeder in SC, hers are really big too. If your sure you can handle a real Malamute I will look up her # for you.

Item Description: Our dog was ran over and killed yesterday afternoon, and my fiancé is taking it very badly. She has been saying she wanted a second dog, and wanted a malamute (either an Alaskan or hopefully a giant malamute).

If anyone has a malamute puppy or knows where I could find one I know it would mean the world to her. Thanks in advance.
