Most lowers are mil spec now, just choose forged or milled. really its about the brand you want to support or logo or lack of logo you prefer

You have to decide if you want to go all in or budget build. in reality you are better off buying a complete gun on here similar to what you want and then customizing it to your liking.

Thats what I am doing on my most recent build, building the lower the way I want it, then wait for the right upper to show up for sale on here.

$39 lowers = 18 months ago who would have believed this could be true. Building my first AR this Christmas (thanks honey) Can't wait to get started.
