Great program; my youngest daughter still shoots 4H BB. The competitions are always fun. They all use the Daisy 499b.

I believe I was 13 in the photo and I shot 4-H regularly until almost 16 yo

I recall advancing to having to hit 2 bullseye's in each of the 5 target per 1 sheet (10 shots per page)

But at nearly 16 yo I wanted to shoot bullseyes with my girlfriend
The "Fumes" got to you at 16.
The gasoline fumes and the perfume. :bolt:

Many independent schools offer shotgun programs with thousands of participants state wide:
GISA, GICAA, GAPPS

The Scholastic Shooting Sports Federation has a shotgun program SCTP for Trap, Skeet, and Sporting Clays which is not specific to a single county or school program.

AIM is the youth program for registered Trap.

Frankly I'm happily surprised at those programs available today's, I didn't know. I ought to research and see if my limited abilities can be a fit.
I can tell you for certain that 4-H is hurting for male volunteers and is always looking for more. There is always seems to be a shortage. They will make you fill out a background check and do an online training and test once yearly, but it can be done in an afternoon and the test is common sense. Not sure about additional qualifications for volunteering for shooting sports though. Any previous law enforcement or military background will probably be enough in that regard.

For 4-H, contact your county extension service.

Some of the 4-H clubs use public ranges, but many have a private range specifically for youth.
