i knew this would happen, right after the news stated that the health care workers met him and examined him, i assumed they weren't wearing hazmat suits and could get the ebola virus.

ebola virus potential patients need their own entrance and area in the hospital with a separate climate control, self contained sewage and ventilation so as to prevent the spread of the virus

Worries me the part that said she wasn't one of the 40+ people they were watching most closely.

Ehh...one sliding through the cracks on anything is bound to happen...think of how many people enter and leave the country in one day? According to wiki, Delta and its other subsidiaries host 5400 flights DAILY! Granted, some are domestic. But, that just gives you an idea of how many people are coming and going....I say one isn't so bad, lol.

The report I heard clearly, repeatedly said the infected was wearing
safety gear.

that's alt least he people actually being diagnosed with it, there s also a percentage of the population that lives alone and refuses to go to the hospital that you have to worry about, they might be more reluctant under fear of being quarantined/in their mind imprisoned in one place under the governments thumb

that makes it even worse, hopefully they will update the safety gear needed to deal with Ebola patients i hospitals
