Item Description: Can someone tell me the purpose of this press? It says Cramer Bullet Mould Co., North Hollywood, CA.
It came in a container of reloading stuff I got from my dad. I know this is from around the 60s. Any help will be appreciated. I know it's some sort of press - no info on the internet could be found.

Bullet lube press for cast bullets maybe?

It is a Lube Sizer Bullet Press. It is used to set gas checks on cast bullets that need them and lube/size all cast bullets with or without gas check. SAECO bought Cramer. Just like a reloading press, you need dies and punches for the caliber you are checking, lubing, and sizing.

Its all over the Internet, think about using a different search engine.

Cool Beans, glad I could help. I attacked it from a different angle. Instead of trying to Google the item, I googled the company, found their history, what they manufactured, who bought them, then googled the company that bought them and found the Lube Sizer Bullet Press.

Cramer's Bullet Moulds from the 1930's were still being produced by SAECO until they ended production in 2002. Interesting history.

I got an email this morning prior to 8am that had an attachment of the instruction manual from Chris Fox at Redding Reloading Equipment.
They didn't owe me anything but still exceeded my expectations for customer service. Perhaps this is a company to review and do more business with.
