Item Description: Smith and Wesson Model No.1. serial #s matching and assembly numbers matching (they used assembly numbers originally. later the serial was used for the same purpose). Rare nickel plate option with Original ivory grips. 100% Fully functional, and in the best shape ive seen one in. I have fired it in the back yard to test as well. This is the first firearm to accept a modern cartidge as we know it (self contained case/powder/bullet as opposed to flint/percussion caps)
