Is that cerakote on the body? Tough to tell, is it white, or off-white/cream color?
Looks like a pre 70's commander so the frame is aluminum.
I believe that "combat commander" signifies a steel frame.
In 1970, Colt introduced the all-steel "Colt Combat Commander", with an optional model in satin nickel. To differentiate between the two models, the aluminum-framed model was re-named the "Lightweight Commander" Hope that helps! GLWS
It is steel, the starting serial is 70S, see picture #2. Also the rear sight is trijicon, H3 07. The color is nickle.
