Had a '69, the 302 was a great motor, high revving and fast, but my buddies with big block Chevy's could handle it...the good ole days.

Ain’t that the truth. I had a 68 SS396 Chevelle in high school, that was a mean ass motor for sure.

My HS pride and joy was my 1969 dark green Corvette coupe. 427CI 390HP 4SP and never had to downshift to blow away all the Cameros, Firebirds etc. that challenged me. Just had to depress the gas pedal fully to open up that 4BBL carb and boom. My Dad was nuts to allow that purchase, but I sure loved him for it! My insurance at 17 was $600 plus per year and had to work full-time to pay it. Worth every hour of work. Love the Camaro!

I've never been a big fan of Chevies; but, I gotta admit, I felt a little quiver.
Nothing like old school American muscle! Gorgeous car! My uncle let me drive his 69 Chevelle SS with a 502 and other goodies. It was intimidating and awesome at the same time.
If I could sell 3 or 4 of my "custom" stippled glocks for ODT prices I could buy that thang.
