Item Description: Up for sale is a 1973 Remington 700 in 30-06 caliber.

Everything about this rifle is original. The barrel, receiver, bolt, buttpad, and stock are all 100% original and matching. This rifle comes with both front and rear iron sights.
The only modification on this gun is the trigger has been professionally adjusted to 2.5lbs.
The date code signifies it was made in April of 1973.
This is truly the most beautiful and best shooting rifle I've ever seen.
I don't get to show it enough attention, wanting to pass along to someone who can.

I'm a fan of the older Rems, and I'd like to find a 30-06, and we should talk. I'm in Richmond Hill and not TOO far from you. I've been a member here for a few years, but I've never used it more than occasionally watching the classifieds. I'm also old (think: Viet Nam in the sixties), and even though one shoulder is about gone, I still love to shoot a treasured rifle. Hey, I might even be a buyer for the right rifle, right?
