Behold the most handsome 85 S10 you’ve ever seen. Not handsome because it’s immaculate, but because it’s got character for days. Stylish whitewalls and the sweet two-tone white and blue will be turning heads. And let’s not forget that it has less than 82,000 original miles on it. I received it with less than 80,000, and have driven it enough to keep the fluids flowing and fresh. 2.8L V6, but it honestly does accelerate from 0-60 in about 3-5 business days. Not a speedster (unless you’re looking to drop a 350 SBC in it). Overall, it looks great for its age. The exterior has some flaws in the paint, as my papa used this truck and is not a show truck, and the interior is in great shape as well, with intact headliner. I did a lot of work on it to get it road worthy after it sat for a short time following his passing, and I had it cleaned up better than it has been in a long time. Don’t miss the opportunity to scoop up this little beast while the gettin’ is good!
The good
-New Weber carburetor (installed last fall)
-New alternator (installed last winter)
-New brake booster (installed last spring)
-New battery (installed last summer)
-Tires only have a couple thousand miles on them
-All fluids serviced within the last year to year and a half
-Heat works
The not good
-AC won’t hold charge
-Reverse lights work, but have to push shifter up a little after dropping it into reverse to make sure lights come on.
-Slow oil leak, appears to be the rear main seal. Mechanic said he would just run it as is and add oil as needed, as it is not a bad leak
-Diff fluid was replaced, but now leaking slowly. Mechanic said he would redo it because he must not have sealed it properly, but then moved out of state and refunded me instead. I haven’t had time to get it done
-Horn and cigarette lighter fuse is pulled right now because the horn has become very sensitive when barely touched.
