Item Description: For sale is a 1985 Jeep CJ-7 with the AMC 304 V8, 4 speed manual transmission, and plenty of new parts and upgrades. Miles are unknown as the speedometer cluster is not currently working. If you know these old CJ's that is very common. The exterior finish is Monsta-liner rather than paint as it is scratch proof and UV resistant. Jeep is overall a great ride and gets plenty of comments everywhere it goes. The 4wd works great and clutch feels extremely solid. Jeep runs, sounds, and drives smooth. Willing to listen to all REASONABLE offers.
Pro's:
-Great looking bedliner exterior and interior.
-New Mastercraft Courser MTX 35x12.50x15 tires. Have appx. 500 miles on them.
-New American Racing black wagon wheels.
-Front disc brakes
-New carb, camshaft, cam seals, intake manifold, front main seal, master cylinder, starter, ignition coil, water pump, valve covers, valve cover gaskets, exhaust manifold gaskets, plus more.
-New rugged ridge soft top, windows, hard half doors, top hardware is just like brand new. Completely water tight.
-New true dual exhaust with flowpack mufflers.
-Original frame but has been fitted with a galvanized YJ tub. This allows you to have to best of both worlds, the classic CJ front end with true hard doors and a full roll cage.
Con's:
-Small oil leak
-Small coolant leak where hose meets radiator. Just needs a proper hose clamp to fix, radiator is solid.
-Heat and speedometer cluster do not work.
This is a great jeep that needs a few small tweaks to be perfect. If you are looking for something that can be driven everyday and fixed up on the weekends in time for Spring this is it! Ready to enjoyed as soon as it's bought and could be a show piece very easily.
