This is a Squier Standard Series FMT (Flame Maple Top) Stratocaster with some excellent upgraded pickups from Guitar Fetish. The professionally-installed pickups are GFS "63 Vintage Wound" Strat pickups that sound extremely faithful to a typical vintage Fender Strat pickup. The pickups are true to the actual vintage specifications which means that the middle pickup is NOT reverse-wound for noiseless operation when used with the neck or bridge pickups. It also sports a treble bleed circuit AND a tone blender circuit, both of which were also professionally installed. The second tone knob is what controls the amount of pickup blending. This thing is definitely a tone machine.
In addition to the pickups, the guitar has also received what appears to be a graphite nut. This is a GREAT player guitar, with a beautiful and eye-catching flame maple top that is genuine, not a photo flame top. You don't see this version of the Squier Stratocaster every day - especially not with excellent upgrades like this one has.
CONDITION: This guitar is in Very Good overall condition. There is an average amount of light scuffs on the back of the body (see photos), but nothing too bad. The front of the body is quite clean, with only some very minor marks. The neck is in really nice shape. There is virtually NO play wear on the frets and has its tremolo arm. Oh, and someone decided to write something in red ink (also pictured) on the back of the headstock. Thankfully most of it has rubbed off.
All reasonable offers will be considered.
A Fender tweed gig bag and the stock pickups and wiring harness will be included.
