If you stayed at 55 the whole way, I'd believe it. I went to Austin a few years ago and it's a relatively flat drive. I left mine on 65 and got just north of 10mpg. Good luck to you!

Normal conditions I prolly get 8 to 10 mpg, but on long flat terrain in Tx at 55mph 15mpg sure shocked me.
Hate to sell it but wifey don't like the camping thing and she's the boss of my house.
