Item Relisted! FS 2005 RC51 SALVAGE TITLE

Yep, Two Bros carbon cans. The parts list includes those, PC3, Sato rearsets, CRG levers, Galfer lines all around, new CL pads, and it keeps going and going.....

Wow, totaled from a knock over. Not doubting you at all, just surprising. I love these bikes and would buy it in a heartbeat if I knew I could make it street legal again.

Not really. The side mount radiators and all the fairing plastics easily place the "restore to new" value over as old a bike as it is.

galvatron galvatron if you'd had a tip over you should never have put a claim in on insurance, because, yeah... they ****ed you. Take it to Newnan and have it inspected for a new title. You aren't going to get your asking price for a salvage bike no matter how nice.

You'd be surprised, these RC51s have a strong cult following. I've seen older sp1s pull 3500 and more with higher miles. They are sweet bikes for sure. Of I didn't just get my busa, ID be looking at this one

yep
trust me, the 51's pull the cash.

Now that I live up here in the riding Mecca, it would be a nice companion to my Fz-09 and dual sport. Just don't know anything about salvage titles.

I knew when I picked it up that day it was going to be totaled, after the sickening feeling of seeing it on its side passed some quick math in m head made it obvious.

I didnt get anywhere near screwed by the insurance company. I could probably give this scooter away and still come out ahead.
Im not going to give it away but the price is fair.
The reality is I figure will sell for $3k.
The add ons alone are worth $1700+/- valued at 50% of retail. A new carbon exhaust is $700, Sato rear sets $500 and the list keeps going.

Like I mentioned in an earlier post, if I was going to put her back on the road it would have been done years ago.

Check with your local tag office. They'll hand you a couple of papers that explains it.
Do not trust anything you find online or what your buddy's friends roomates third cousin tells you. Its not hard but it needs to be done correctly.
