Item Relisted! FS 2012 Ford F-150 4x4 XLT 4dr SuperCrew Styleside 5.5 ft. SB MECHANIC SPECIAL

the body work estimated at $1200. The title is clean....NOT SALVAGE....as far as the engine, I haven't got any estimate yet. worse case scenario, A used engine cost anywhere from $2700 and $3200. We had ford dealership diagnose the engine and it is most likely timing problem.

Please post a copy of the body shop repair estimate.

Also, why is the hood racked?

So you had a Ford dealership diagnose the problem but didn't get a repair estimate? Seems like that would come with the diagnosis. Otherwise, what's the point?

11k for a truck that needs a possible 3k in repairs to the engine and 1500-2000 in body work. The ecoboost has issues with the valves getting gunked up because of the factory pcv system being ****ty mixed with a direct injection system. Its probably not timing.

I call bull**** on $1200 there's no way in heck, that you can get that much bodywork and painted for that price. I've done bodywork as a sideline for the last 15 years. The cheapest thing for that truck would be to replace the bed with one from a junkyard, repair the cab, bumper, and replace the mirror. The mirror just by itself will cost over $300, another $400 for the bumper. That's over $700 for JUST those 2 items, with no labor cost included. The cheapest you'll find a used bed for will be $1500-$2000
