Title: Afghanistan Bringback Snider Enfield.

RSAF Enfield P-56 Short Rifle with an 1860 lock date that was converted to a Snider patent breechloader circa 1871. From there it was surplused to R.B. Rodda of Birmingham, where it made it way to India.
In 1913 it was purchased from the Indian government by retailers Haji Sultan Ali Khan & Ahmed Jan Khan from Kabul. They imported the rifle to Afghanistan where it remained for over a century.
This rifle was brought home via Bagram Airfield in 2016. The original bringback paperwork, Soviet improvised sling, and 3 rounds of ammo come with it.
Mechanically good with stock showing areas of heavy service wear. Rifling is strong and the action is right with a strong mainspring.
This gun has recently been test fired and it was extremely accurate at 40 yds producing a 3 roundd grouping of
1.4 inches.
