Sorry to say college ain't what it once was, 1st was a 64 California Special, 2nd was a 70 Mach 1, I would give a kidney to have them back, but you gotta do what you gotta do. good luck

K-Jee...I see you are dead set on selling it. This 65 looks to be a late 65 model production on a 2 barrel C-Code. It's a quite popular production model. I'm going to say the condition of this car puts it in the $10,000 range. It's not that there arent any serious buyers here on ODT, it's that this car isnt going to fetch as much as you think.
I respect you wanting to get your life straight and all but realistically, I think you need a mentor and/or life coach more than anything else. You're persistent and very motivated. I wish you well on your journey but sometimes life isnt just about taking the road less traveled. Stop and ask for directions and have a guide in where you are going. You'll enjoy your trip and destination better when you get there compared to just randomly taking the road less traveled.
Take a poll...I'm going to say most here are wise enough to tell you that you will regret selling the car, miss a family heirloom, and find yourself with a girl that you probably could do without and talk about the car missed out on for the rest of your life.
Here are my 2 cents:
Keep the car. Go to a junior college. The truly dedicated will find a way to get good grades in JC, transfer to a tier 1 university and graduate with a piece of paper. Wont cost so much if you go this route. Get a job, go back for your master, and work your ass off. When you turn 38, then find a girl...settle down once you have established you can take care of the girl and the kids.
As for the girl...stick to my rule of 23. what's that you say...When you are 25, you girl is 23. When you turn 29...how old is your girl? you would say 27...I would say 23. The rule of 23 says you just find another one.
Well with documentation over the years, the low miles would push the value up. I would agree that price sells. A straight all original low mile 65 is desirable.
I wasn't going to say anything, but I somewhat agree with Range Whore. I've personally sold most anything I have of value, trying to have a little extra money for a similar reason and I can tell you, if you gotta struggle that hard to make something happen, it's going to fail at some point. You might come up with some money but it's not going to be enough to get where you want/need to be and then you'll be scrambling to come up with more money. If this is truly being done so you can go to school, get a low interest student loan (Associated Credit Union or acu.com offers a great student loan) and a part time job as you seem to be a hustler with determination. You seem to be in a panic and I've been in your shoes and the only answer is, don't sell anything and work hard. As for the girl, if you have to sell stuff and jump through hoops when you're not even married, you're gonna be a great wife but not the man of your house.
I know you didn't ask for advice or input, but I hope you'll take a step back and wait a while before you do something you regret. Get a small loan, start school and if in a few months you still want to sell your stuff, you can pay the loans back then.
