Item Description: AR 500 plate rack with 6 in plates (x6)! These are 100% made in America with American produced steel. We do all design and cutting in house and this allows us to price match with anyone in the industry. Find a comparable product and we will beat the price! Cut with high definition CNC plasma with water table for accurate and cool cutting. These are perfect for visual and auditory reactive shooting, and will provide many years of use. Rated at the industry standard of pistols past 10 yards and rifles past 100 yards. The targets feature a 1/2 in square hole and can be hung and assembled with only the use of a few wrenches. The "A" frame hangers can be either mounted on 3/4" pipe or screwed into wooden legs. Ships in flat rate box with everything you need to assemble except wrenches and wooden 2 x 4 frame and legs. Got part of mine today. Be advised they are not coated, the 2 gongs that arrived were inside a flat rate box with no stuffing. The plates are very rusty, and the smaller one spent the trip gouging the larger one. Postal lady said the larger boxes are at the PO, I have to come get them from the dock, the packaging has disintegrated and they are not sure it is all there.

Glad to hear you received your plate rack kits and I look forward to hearing your feedback once you are able to test them. All of your plates for the plate rack should be included in the same box as the hangars and 2 x 4 supports. We try to be as economical as possible with our shipping, and we will be getting better packaging and packing material as we are able.

The smaller plates moving around in the box is normally not an issue, but as it took us a few days longer to complete your order due to difficulties with our hardware supplier, we included a few smaller plates free of charge for your inconvenience.

As for the plates arriving rusty, AR500 is a high carbon steel and oxidizes quickly. We wire brush all of the strike plates before packaging, and it is possible that they get a layer of surface rust in transit. In order to keep our prices lowest in the industry, we do not coat our strike faces at this time because it is soon removed from bullet impacts and soon after requires another coat. We do apply paint to all hangars as they do not receive the same wear, and are considering applying a base coat to the plates once our paint production increases.
