Item Description: Beautiful Browning 2000 in near mint condition.
28" barrel, choked ** (modified), all original furniture and butt stock.
Perfect light handling upland gun, and shoots very softy. All steel construction, and left hand (lh) friendly with feeding port on left side. Great beautiful gun. Browning discontinued these as they were too expensive to manufacture.

This is before the screw in chokes. I don't think the Browning 2000 ever made it to the screw in chokes? Maybe I am wrong.
Anyways, this is a fixed choke. Modified.

The 2000 were not made with with screw in chokes, I have a 12ga MOD with extra bbls and would not think about selling it, the gun was too expensive to produce back in the early 80s and was sub contracted out to Beretta before it was discontinued .

Yeah, it is a beautiful gun and the internal mechanics are marvelous. I can see where it is too expensive to produce!
