Browning’s entry into the “wonder 9” movement was this High Power cousin the BDM.
The Browning Double Mode was/is unique in that one could turn a switch on the frame and switch between the DA/SA Pistol mode and DA Revolver mode to fire the handgun.
Circa mid 90’s, the pistol was designed to meet the needs of LE agencies who were converting from revolvers to semi-auto handguns. However the “plastic” guns knocked them out of the competition. Therefore sales fizzled and production was stopped.
Like the High-Power the firearm is very slim and easy to conceal/carry.
As well, the full length barrel coupled with the metal frame and slide make this handgun an easy shooter. I have learned that you cannot limp wrist this one.
This handgun is in Good condition.
Comes with two 15 round magazines.
A nice piece of history for browning fans.
Open to Reasonable offers.
Must be legal to own/buy in Georgia and show proof.
Willing to travel but not too far.

The one in the package is Triple K. The one in the pistol has no markings that I can see, so I don’t know what it is. I assumed Browning, but that would only be because it came with the pistol when I bought it about ten years ago.
