Colt used gray sight pins on the nickel Pythons. FWIW, those look gray to me...Certainly not the same blued/black color as on my stainless Python. Beautiful snake, OP!

If you pm me I will give you my number and help show you the few differences between telling if a gun is bright stainless or nickel. Also colt didn't make a stainless python until around 1982 and bright stainless in 1985
