For Sale Only is a Ruger 10/22 Custom. I built this rifle about 20 years ago. The receiver came from a donor that was stainless, so it is not painted but something like brushed aluminum with a stainless bolt. It features a Fajen stock that is amazing. An Adams and Bennett premium fluted, stainless barrel. The trigger is from a gunsmith from back in the day that is very crisp and smooth. The scope is nothing special it is a Simmons 8-Point 3-9 x 40, but it was the right color to match the rest of the rifle. Rifle will come with one Ruger 10 round rotary magazine, and 2 Butler Creek 25-round Hot Lips magazines. Probably only has about 1000 - 1500 rounds through it. I'm more collector than shooter.
This rifle shoots amazingly well even with the relatively inexpensive scope. I'm sure it would do better with a higher quality target scope. The targets shown in the pictures were from the last trip to the range with this gun. It cycles and shoots all types of ammo well. Each of the groups was a 10-round group at 50 yards off a sandbag. All groups were under an inch. It likes Norma Tac-22 the best. That group is just under 1/2". The target in the bottom center was rapid fire Tac-22 and still came in under an inch.
Unless otherwise agreed to would need to meet at the Academy in Cumming off GA 400 exit 13. Need to see carry permit or GA DL.
