yeah! I think it's mainly because it's lead-free and the projectile is copper. They are significantly lighter than any lead-based round. I used them to carry and it took a lot of weight off. They test these to meet the same impact as typical rounds. Eg. they penetrate windshields. I've shot a few rounds through my CZ P-01 and it cycled no problem. The ammo is only available from Doubletap. I'm offering it cheaper than what they do, esp. minus shipping. To me, the lighter weight of lugging them around all day is worth it.

HP but not jacketed since it's only one type of metal. There's no lead in the core. They use the Barnes TAC-XP bullet. I've taken a few pix next to a Federal 9mm +P 135 Gr JHP. I also weighted the two. Federal is 12.8g, Doubletap is 9.7g. So the difference between a 14rd mag would be 43.4g. Not a ton but when you carry all day. ;)

From DoubleTap: "This is a load that was designed from the ground up to shoot in your tiny sub compact 9mm. It runs at standard 9mm pressures with a very light recoil. This load is an excellent choice for home defense or CCW where limited penetration is needed. You will get excellent stopping power with less chance of overpenetration."
