Up for sale is a Smith & Wesson model 629 no dash 44 Magnum 6 inch barrel. This is a stainless version of the model 29 and you know the prices they go for. I am not the original owner I’ve had this a little over 2 years and I have only shot 50 rounds through it. It appears to have been polished sometime before I acquired it. It has a little scratch on the side plate and the left side of the barrel that I believe occurred when polished. I have tried to show that in the pictures. Try look worse in the pictures than they really are.
This gun has the pinned barrel and recessed cylinder. The 629 was introduced in 1979 and the pinned barrel and recessed cylinders were dropped in 1982 when it became a 629-1. So only about 3 years did it have those features.
We can do a bill of sale if you want one. I’m not requiring one. But I will need to look at a valid Georgia ID or better yet a Georgia Carry License to verify age and Ga. Resident. I’ll be glad to show my ID as well.
