Fully functioning antique with bayonet. 11x59mm ammo is difficult to find but not impossible. However, handloading is most likely option if you intend to shoot it. This is really intended for collectors. Purchased at an estate sale. I was told it was a WWI GI bring back. As I understand, during WWI about a half million of these were being refitted to shoot 8mm Lebel. This one is original caliber. It is a pretty cool weapon with interesting proof marks.
