Item Description: Nice 95% overall condition ,all matching numbers , it does have a later model sling installed . condition based on perfect gun with slight wear at muzzle . Gun is very nice dosnt look like it was used much no bumps or scratches. Gun has no import marks or stamps , receiver is marked 306 with 3 Chinese symbols and serial number . questions call 478-508-7434

That's interesting. It was converted to .308 from 7.62x39.
Wonder if its NATO caliber. 308.

Gotcha, I misread it as 308 not 306. Sorry. I haven't seen anything on this numbering before. Since your add doesn't list the caliber, I just was confused.

Considering I've never seen a sks in anything but 7.62x39 I would guess there all the same caliber
