If you ever get another tang safety that you want a trigger job on, let me know. I'll show you an awesome way to perfect the factory one. I miss the hell out of that rifle lol. I definitely regret selling it. I'll keep you posted if I decide to sell outright.

I tried this on one of mine, and I was extremely pleased with the results. I believe it might have been the rifle BROWNING1990 bought from me. He can test the trigger and let us know.

Up for TRADE ONLY is a gorgeous Remington in excellent condition. Remington picked a different caliber each year from 1981-2005 to make the Classic in. 1988 was the year of the 35 Whelen. The round is an absolute hammer with a cult following. I have added the following: Limbsaver recoil pad, Triggertech adjustable trigger (currently set at 1.5ish LB), and a Pacific Tool and Gauge Oberndorf bottom metal (incredibly long wait time). I have retained all factory parts, and they are in excellent condition. I also have added a Leupold VX3i 3.5x10x50mm in Talley lightweight mounts. I have shot less than 20rds through this rifle, and I believe it to have been unfired prior to me owning it. The absolute only trades I am interested in whatsoever are for R700 CDL SF and R700 stainless Mountain rifles in 7mm-08, 30-06, or 280rem or Remington Model 7 rifles in 7mm-08 and 308. I am not particularly interested in any of these with the laminated stocks, but I would entertain them. I will be keeping my optic if yours does not have one, and I'll be keeping my mounts if we are trading long action for long action. I have some premium ammo that can be included in the deal as long as you have some too.

I absolutely love blued metal, but you're right. The weather can be harsh on them. Almost all of mine are wood/blued, and I hate getting them damp.
