1989 Isuzu Trooper 4WD 5spd - All Stock - No Mods. 162K Miles.
This is the top trim LS model. Equipped with cruise control, intermittent wipers, AC, etc. Has the bulletproof Isuzu 4 cylinder.
Very nice driver or easy restoration. I just use it as a weekend vehicle, and it is garaged otherwise. Runs very well and I would consider it to be a reliable driver.
Body and paint are a 7.5 out of 10 with good overall mostly original paint. The fender and driver door appear to have been resprayed at some point. Remaining paint is factory two tone.
Interior is very good with no tears. Upholstery is very nice with no stains. Carpet shows wear, but is in good condition overall. Comes with very rare trunk/luggage compartment cover.
AC works when charged, BUT refrigerant leaks.
All of the following done in the last 2K miles:
Valves adjusted
Timing belt, water pump, tensioner
Majority of vacuum hoses replaced
New windshield and gasket
Full new rear brakes, including calipers
Air filter and spark plugs
Tires are in very good shape and have low miles
Items needing attention are a minor oil leak at the distributor, and the outer CV boots are torn and need to be replaced. Cruise control is intact, but does not appear to be working.
I also have a brand new in box aftermarket round eye grill available separately for $300.
