Until I decided to list this, I had forgotten that it had electric start; I had always just pulled the starter rope like you do with any small gas engine; I removed the old battery and replaced it with a new one and it starts right up with a simple button push. I suggested to my wife that it could become 'her' pressure washer but she encouraged me to sell it
