Done the vstrom thing. I had the 650, my buddy has the 1000. You will run out of power quick. They have good torque and sit more upright, but you could outfit your bike with givi luggage and taller bars.

before this i did the klr 650 thing, vstrom will give me more power and highway comfort (than the klr), i cant take the zrx on the colorado jeep trails which is the only reason i'm looking for another bike.

If you do decide on another KLR, I have a 2008 I'm selling for 3. It has a little over 11,000 miles on it
