Selling a 2011 Ford F-150 I have used for a side business the past 8 months. Purchased with 95k miles about 9 months ago. Have since put nearly 30k miles on it and has served its purpose well. 3.7l V6 (far more reliable than the awful 5.4) 5400lb towing capacity. 6.5 ft bed. 123xxx miles currently. Relatively spacious cab for being an Extended Cab. Small cosmetic imperfections but mechanically it has been solid. I’m only selling due to needing to upgrade to a Diesel as this little side business has picked up and I need more truck to be more efficient.
Cons - (All of which I purchased it with)
- TPMS Sensors. Had the ugly XL wheels replaced but not the sensors. I really don’t care.
- Airbag light - passenger seat belt buckle needs replaced.
- Faulty instrument cluster - please look this up if you wish to know more and are interested, was an issue for these trucks 09-11. The instrument cluster instructs to “check brakes and service advance trac (traction control)” this causes the brake, traction control, and abs light to come on. The fix is a new instrument cluster, but there is literally nothing wrong with the truck and like I mentioned I or one of my employees have put 30k miles in well under a year on it just the way it is.
Ran it at auction just to see an it ran 10,900, which means some dealer will probably fix it up and sell for carfax value of around $16k so I figured I’d see if anyone private party would like to purchase at 12,500 prior to me just taking ~$11k at auction.
Willing to take $10k cash and $3500 in trade value with guns/gear
