I purchased my Jeep Patriot at 80k miles. It now has ~202,000. It has the typical jeep issues, but its been a faithful daily driver since 2020.
Here's a list of repairs I've done in the last 2 years:
Wheel bearings x3- 2022
New 80k Tires -2024
Alternator Replaced -2023
Steering pump replaced -2023
Both Belts -2024
Regular oil changes x3k miles
Throttle body replaced -2023
Throttle body sensor -2023
All Spark plugs -2024
Coil packs replaced -2024
Front Struts replaced x2 -2023
Potential needed repairs:
-Motor mounts (some vibration while idling at stoplights )
-Throttle body (occasionally throws lightning bolt light) I've replaced the Throttle body & Throttle body sensor twice. No idea why it keeps throwing the light. It doesn't affect the driving.
-Small leak in the passenger door seal.
This jeep should be considered a mechanic special. While it is road worthy, I want to be transparent that it needs repairs.
The High Altitude is the highest trim package in the Patriot model with 4x4 premium tires, powered leather seats, and premium sound.
I'm in no rush to sell.
