Item Description: For sale is a basic budget bolt action hunting rifle. It gets about 1.5 MOA with factory hunting rounds and about 4 MOA with military surplus. It's a Marlin X7, which is more or less a Savage 10 clone. Bore / chamber is bright, clean and lubed. What makes this rifle special is the trigger. I have it set at 3.5 lbs, it's advertised to go all the way down to 2.5, and it breaks like glass with zero creep. The stock is surprising rigid for being plastic with a 13.5" LOP. The tip of the barrel has a tiny bit of surface rust from me handling it in and out of the safe with a bare hand that I can't get to show up on the camera. Scope is a Bushnell 3-9x40 that looks factory new. It tracks well and has pretty good light gathering capabilities for being a sub-$200 scope. This was my backup hunting rifle and I'm clearing room in the safe for more expensive toys. I'll go down to $400 on the rifle if I keep the scope, rings and sling.
