When I went and took it up to the gunshow, the two dealers who made me an offer on it, looked real close at it, and said it would have almost had to be a Nodak Spud build, they said he had never seen an AMD65 of this kind of workmanship before, but then again, the guy who I bought it from said the guy who sold it to him, said the gunsmith who made it spent a month getting it perfectly straight, sites and internals, doing custom work to it to get it that good. I have no clue who built it or made it, but I do know its an amazing build. He also didn't paint it, so that whoever bought it could paint it if they wanted to. I liked the gun fine like that.
When I got it, the natural finish was on it from the factory, I guess it was blued or something, I don't think it was parkarized. Then when I got it, I decided I wanted it flat black, so I painted it flat black over the original coating, and put a nice clear coat on it. I took my time, put many layers of primer, paint, and a flat hardened clear coat on it as well to protect it. Its pretty much good to go in the primary.
Ya'll just be sure to send me those cash offers, and its probably going to have to be an amazing firearms trade, for me to want to do it, because I really need the cash right now.
I only shot a few mags of ammo through it, the guy before me didn't do much either, so its almost brand new internals, and I just want the money out of it, that I paid into it.
I've got mouths to feed and bills to pay and I just need the cash for bills. I just want what I paid for it out of it, plus I did do the paint job.
