A question was asked regarding:

The Lower Receiver is Marked "Multi"
The Upper's barrel is marked "5.56 NATO"

So, what does that mean?

Some vendors mark some of their lowers with 'multi-caliber' recognizing that there are multiple caliber upper conversions available to work with the standard lower. So if someone wants to know that their lower can accept an AR-15 upper built for 5.56mm NATO, .223 Remington, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, .458 SOCOM, ,204, 6.8 SPC, .300 BLKOUT, etc., etc. they'll feel more comfortable I guess if the Lower says 'multi-caliber'. All such marked Lower Receivers will accept all standard AR-15 / Mil-Spec (or "GI") 5.56 / .223 Magazines and AR-15 Magpul magazines that you see everywhere. They will also accept standard AR-15 6.8 SPC Magazines as well as AR-15 Magazines for a wide variety of AR-15 Uppers built for the ever expanding calibers that people want to use!!!

Just remember: The only caliber marking that counts is on the upper's barrel (which will also require a corresponding BCG or bolt-carrier-group in that same caliber!) AND must be fed with the same caliber ammunition housed in a same caliber AR-15 Magazine!

Which brings us to this particular AR-15. It's barrel and BCG is set-up for 5.56mm NATO, which means that it can safely and effectively fire BOTH .223 and 5.56 NATO cartridges. If the barrel were marked ".223" you would unable to safely shoot 5.56mm NATO in it! Insomuch that the vast majority of all ammunition you see out there for sale is 5.56mm NATO - this AR-15 is set-up to safely and effectively handle both! You will use standard AR-15 NATO / G.I. Mil-Surp / .223 / 5.56 Magazines and ammunition in this rifle!

Bottom Line: what I have posted is a "proto-typical" Standard Mil-Spec type AR-15!

I hope this isn't confusing!

Oh, and BTW: I forgot to post that I will include one Standard Magpul AR-15 Magazine (New / Still in the wrapper) in the matching FDE Color
