Up is my “brand new” bergara b-14 wilderness hunter chambered in 308. It’s never been fired but some of the cerakote from the factory got into the receiver threads and two of the tapped holes had to be retapped to fit a larger torque head screw by a gunsmith because it buggered one of my original base screws up real bad (all of the other spots for the bases to screw into were checked and are ok). The last picture is showing the new screw holes in the bases. It’s got a couple of small scratches on the receiver with a spot or two that is under the scope base as well (see picture below). I bought this as a hunting gun but decided I wanted to go a different direction for next season.
Due to those factors I’m putting the cash price/trade value for just the rifle and extra high Talley integrated rings at $700. The gun retails for $800 so that’s $100 off the gun and a $60 set of rings with the gun.
I can include the Leupold VX3HD 3.5-10x40mm for another $500 totaling out at $1200 for the package. The scope also has the CDS dials but, since I haven’t shot the gun, it’s just got the factory dial. I also have the box and docs for the gun.
Trade interests include but are not limited to Ruger super blackhawk hunter model revolvers in 44mag with or without scope and rings, Ruger No. 1 rifles chambered between 243 and 30-06, Winchester model 70 rifles in the same caliber range, Browning BAR in the same caliber range, Browning x bolts in the same caliber range, or a TC encore/contender pistol with a 243 or 308 barrel. I would prefer and gun with a scope but it’s not that big of a deal and cash can be added on my end or yours. Obviously I’m looking for hunting type guns but I will entertain all offers.
I work all around town and travel for work so I may not be able to meet up with you immediately if we make a deal but I can try and make time or we can wait for a weekend. Thanks for looking y’all.
