Inglis made Hi-powers in Canada.

I'm not aware of any USA made Hi Powers.

Looking at the Interwebs, no one else is aware of any either.

Well, 2 were in 1926 and 1927.

Especially for a MK III

The OP seems to think he has one...

Wasn't there some sort of Mk 4 variant? I thought those were made in the states. I could be wrong, it's happened before.

Mark III was the last Browning produced Hi-Power. Some are being produced under license, and some gunshops are offering modified guns, so who knows what is out there. OP doesn't seem to care much, as a clear picture of the slide would tell the tale.
