No. It is essentially a .22 bullet sitting on a packed powder charge; when shot, there is nothing left in the chamber.

Yep daisy only made them a very short time before the ATF said it was an actual firearm and they didn't have proper license to buy and sell firearms. The ammo is still pretty easy to find and isn't that much really.
