Item Description: I bought this at auction, billed as "Colt XS Series Commander Model Lightweight Officer's CCO with Case". As you can see from the pics, it is not actually marked CCO on the gun or the label on the case. The label on the case also says it has a 3.5 inch barrel, but it is actually a Commander length barrel, and the slide is marked "Commander Model". Rosewood grips, 3 white dot sights. Case is marked Model 09860XS

Comes with 2 magazines and case & original accessories

No, the serial number on the box matches the serial number on the gun. I believe the frame is aluminum.

Also, to be clear, this is an Officers ACP frame with a Commander slide, which I presume is why it was sold to me as a "CCO" model even though not officially marked as such.

According to this thread in a 1911 forum, (https://www.1911forum.com/threads/serial-number-decipher.614601/),

"Colt produced a run of CCOs for TALO that have slides marked "Commander" with no "CCO" on the slide."

The gun in that 1911forum.com thread is not the same serial number as mine, but it is close, and seems to be the exact same scenario.
