Item Relisted! FS/FT Early MAK-90 AK

Was there a muzzle nut tack welded on? A factory slant break and threaded muzzle would have violated the '89 ban, which all MAKs fall under. Does it have a gold-toned fcg?

Beautiful rifle, and great price for it already converted into its "more original" configuration.

Looks to be a build to me IMHO because it doesn't have the lug on the gas port but looking at the shape of the rivets it looks to be a professional build but really who knows there was some sketchy stuff done right at the time of the ban so it could have very well have been done by the importer whatever the story is behind the rifle its interesting and it would be mine if not so damn far away. Her pre 89 brothers and sisters that are already in my collection miss their step sister.....

The bayonet lug was shaved off of the first batch caught in customs. They kept their threaded muzzles, but not the bayonet lugs. This is not a build, it is from the first batch of MAK-90s after the ban.

Item Description: I have for sale or trade a very early MAK-90 AK. This is from the first batch that was caught in customs after the 1989 Bush ban. This rifle still has the factory threaded barrel and muzzle device. I have the wood handguard, stock, and pistol grip, as well as the thumbhole stock (although I'm not sure who in the hell would actually want that). Round count is pretty low and this is as close as you can get to a true pre-ban (89 ban) without paying for one. This shoots and feels nearly identical to my Norinco 56s. Feel free to comment or message me with any questions or comments. Thanks.
In the pictures it is the one with the darker wood furniture.
