Sorry to piss in your Post Toasties, but it's NOT a hi-power clone either. It's more of a smith 5900 series clone. These are fantastic guns, but not near a hi-power. The FEG 9HP is the hi-power clone.....

there you go with your expert knowledge and what not

isnt the smith 5900 series based off a browning design anyhow? i mean i know alot of guns are

The P9R has the internals like a Smith 5900, but looks a little more like a hi-power than the Smith does. I believe QUITE a few handguns have Browning ideas in them. The Smith and P9R use a completely different barrel lug and lock system than the hi-power or FEG 9HP use, safety is on the slide, and a few other obvious differences. The P9R will NOT use hi-power mags.....
NOW LET ME SAY THIS! The 5900 series Smith & Wesson is a FINE gun, and the FEG P9R is a FINE gun as well. And these guns for $300 is a LOT of bang for the buck.

Thanks for jumping on this one, Geezer. The last time I pointed out on a post that this type of pistol is a 5900 clone I was told to "go fly a kite", just not in those words.

would you trade for a H & R model 950 stainless, 22lr 9 shot with 600 rds of ammo?
