Item Description: 1975 Colt Combat Commander Satin Nickel. Very Good Condition. The mainspring housing is Satin Nickel as well. I do not know why it appears darker in the photos.

The Series 70 Combat Commander was manufactured from 1971 to 1980. The last year of this style Satin Nickel finish was 1983 on the Government Model MKIV Series 70. Of course there have been other Nickel finishes on Colts since then (Electroless Nickel among others).
MSRP on the current Series 80 model Colt Combat Commander is $999 and the current Series 80 model sales on GB are $1200 plus tax, shipping and FFL transfer fees; they are selling above MSRP.
At $1250 I believe it is a good investment in a Colt that hasn't been manufactured for 41 years. I believe it will continue to increase in value. I have enjoyed owning it.
