Pros-
Fairly Clean
New Battery
Nice Undercarriage and Engine Bay
Engine and Trans are run great
Lots of new parts (Installed and NIB)
New Brakes
New Parts Included in Box - suspension rebuild stuff, I'll get pics if requested. ( Searching for Receipts New In Box ), some other **** I am forgetting.
Cons-
Top Motor Failure - Common Issue
Intermittent Power Steering Issue - Electronic Assist ****ery, works fine after car warms up.
Needs Suspension Refresh - some parts included
E brake failure on one side of the rear.
Driver Seat replaced with a Kirkey (I am tall and stock seat was rough) so unless you are tall, you will need to Pick a Part a new seat in OR install sliders.
2 Error codes - lean bank and thermostat. Probably got an air leak somewhere on the plastic between the box and intake. Thermostat is easy, I'll do it at some point.
I bought this BMW during COVID for too much money (9k) , put another 2k in it at Flyin Wrench fixing some issues ( I have documentation - Shifter Linkage, Coolant Intake Crossover ), then spend another 2k on Parts that I never installed because I am lazy. The goal was for this to be a daily and slowly upgrade into a S Swap, but I lost my job and motivation, and its been in line to be sold for a while. Wife is unhappy it just sits there and we are planning on having our first child in the next bit so I need to get something a bit bigger. I've looked around and it looks like good clean cars are around 7-8k, I am asking 4000$ for everything. That's only got me losing 9k over 3 years of ownership, hell yeah. Literally less than 4k miles during my ownership.
I think this would be a great vehicle for a young fella who wants a fast looking car, that's not actually dangerously fast. Or an old fella who wants a going to town car with the missus (or mister).
I don't want to sell it but my wife is watching me type this post so I need to keep her happy.
As for trades -
I would like something 4x4 for my daily so I can leave the nice vehicle at home.
