Gen 4, with the older gen 3 slide treatment
How do you come about one of those?
Don't quote me on this but I believe during the first few runs of gen 4's Glock was still using the tenifer and then it was ban in the states!
You don't see them often they're out there though. I have a gen 4 32 and 19 with the tenifer slides
Not sure that is true. I read up on this last night so do your Google research and there is a lot of information on the finishes. Some different names are the same process. Also, Tenifer is not the "finish" you see. It a process done to bare metal that bonds with the metal before applying the finish color.
Well what did you find because there's is definitely a difference between the older glock (frying pan)finishes and the newer ones.
not all gen3's have tennifer. i think its guns produced after 2010-12 wish ,, i think all the beavertail gen4 "mod2" are not tennifer. the ones with the notch on the back of the grip for the beavertail strap. the early gen4's with 2 backstraps in a plastic bag and no notch on the lower have tennifer slides mostly/maybe always
That being said, i take beavertails over tennifer and i can't believe this is still here, great price !
